After a lengthy investigation & validation exercise, Back Office IT chose to partner with Managed Workplace for the provision of a remote management platform. This world-class system allows us to monitor, manage, configure & fault-find on our customers’ systems – all done remotely from our office. This, in turn, means our customers have fewer problems with their systems, and faster responses to those issues that do occur.
The system is affordable, reliable, and has no impact on the performance of systems. It includes a full Avast Business security endpoint (i.e. anti-virus), which is integrated into the platform for both deployment & monitoring.
As well as the day-to-day support of customer computers, the system can provide a wealth of management data – for instance it can audit all of the editions of Windows currently in use, versions of software such as Acrobat etc. It will also look at hardware, providing a run-down of free disk capacity, processor type & loading, system uptime and so on.
Insuring against ‘large’ one-off costs
The most popular feature of our support contracts is that all the labour for the routing support & maintenance* of your computer is included in the monthly cost: all future labour for these tasks will be billed at zero!
For those with higher security needs there are optional advanced security software systems & ‘spam’ filtering systems available.
* Routine maintainence excludes development and major changes. We also reserve the right to charge mileage for site visits.
